Do Dham Yatra Registration – Complete Guide

Registration for the Do Dham or Char Dham Yatra is mandatory, but the process is straightforward and takes only a few minutes.

We always recommend that travelers either spend 5 minutes completing the registration themselves or simply share their details with us—we can handle the entire process on your behalf.

There are three ways to complete your Do Dham Yatra registration:

      1. Online Registration (Recommended Method)

The most convenient and widely used method is the online process.

      – Visit the official Uttarakhand government Yatra registration portal.
      – Create an account using your mobile number and verify it via OTP.
      – Select your travel window (you’ll need to choose a date range of up to 15 days).
      – Choose the dham(s) you plan to visit—Kedarnath Dham, Badrinath Dham, or both.
      – Add pilgrim details (travellers are referred to as “pilgrims” on the portal).
      – Complete Aadhaar verification through OTP.

Once done, each traveler receives a unique Yatra registration number, along with a Group ID for multiple travelers. These documents must be shown at checkpoints such as Haridwar or Sonprayag.

      2. WhatsApp Registration

Another easy option is through WhatsApp:

      – Visit the official Uttarakhand Yatra registration website.
      – Save the provided WhatsApp number.
      – Send a message (usually “Yatra”) and follow the automated steps.

This is a quick alternative if you prefer mobile-based assistance.

      3. Offline Registration (Last Option)

Offline registration is available but should only be used as a backup.

      – You can register after reaching Haridwar.
      – Suitable for last-minute plans (e.g., if you finalize your trip just a day before departure).
      – Be prepared for queues during peak season.

      Final Tip

Always try to complete your registration in advance—this saves time, avoids last-minute stress, and ensures smoother entry during your Yatra.

FAQ on Do Dham Yatra Package from Mumbai:

Question 1: In how many days can I complete the Do Dham Yatra from Mumbai?

Answer: Our 8-day package is a perfect example showing that a traveler from Mumbai, Maharashtra can comfortably complete the Do Dham Yatra in 8 days. This includes Day 1 departure from Mumbai to Delhi and Day 8 return from Delhi to Mumbai.

Question 2: What is the minimum cost for a Do Dham Yatra from Mumbai?

Answer: If you choose a budget bus tour where your Mumbai to Delhi train or flight tickets are managed by you, and we handle all arrangements from Delhi onwards, then the total cost for an 8-day Do Dham Yatra can range between Rs. 19,000 to Rs. 20,000 per person. This includes bus transportation, hotel stay, and daily breakfast, along with drop-off at Delhi airport or railway station on Day 8.

Question 3: Do I need to register for the Do Dham Yatra?

Answer: Yes, registration is mandatory for all travelelrs visiting Kedarnath or Badrinath Dham. Without proper registration for each member of your group or family, you may be stopped at checkpoints such as Haridwar, Sonprayag, or near Badrinath. The process takes only 5 minutes—you can either complete it yourself or let our team assist you.

Question 4: Is the Kedarnath-Badrinath Yatra safe for senior citizens and children?

Answer: Yes, the Yatra is generally safe as road conditions from Haridwar to Kedarnath and Badrinath have improved significantly. There are adequate facilities such as shops, medical centers, hospitals, and hotels along the route. The main challenge is the Kedarnath trek, which is approximately 18 km one way. While Badrinath is easily accessible by car, Kedarnath requires physical stamina. Travelers can either trek, take a palki or horse, or opt for a helicopter (subject to availability). If elderly travelers or young children are unable to manage the trek, it is advisable to reconsider Kedarnath or consult a doctor before planning. Many senior citizens, even above 80 years, successfully complete the Yatra every year.

Question 5: What if I miss my registered date for Kedarnath or Badrinath?

Answer: The Yatra registration usually provides a travel window of up to 15 days. If your visit date shifts by 1–2 days, it is generally manageable, and you are usually allowed to proceed from Haridwar to Sonprayag and onward to Kedarnath or Badrinath without major issues.

Question 6: What is your booking and cancellation policy?

Answer: For all bookings, we require a minimum advance payment of 10%. This amount is 100% refundable if the booking is canceled at least 7 days before the tour date. However, hotel refunds are subject to individual hotel policies. Refunds for transportation are applicable only for services provided by our own company fleet.
