Complete 8 days itinerary of Do Dham Yatra:
Day 1: On day 1, you will arrive from Mumbai to Haridwar. You can also arrive in Delhi and then we will pick you in Can and drop in haridwar, a 3 hour drive. Later you can explore Haridwar in evening, or just rest at the hotel.
Day 2: By morning, we will leave Haridwar for Kedarnath. Today we will reach a city near to Kedarnath Dham starting point, which is gaurikund. These are Sonprayag, 5 km and Guptkashi. Sitapur or Ukhimath. Later you will rest for the day.
Day 3: Today, by early morning we will drop you at Sonprayag, which is the last point a tourist car can go. From here the couse of action will be:
- Show your Yatra registration
- Take shared cab till gaurikund
- Start the 18 km trek from Gaurikund
And by night, reach Kedarnath Dham, as its a 10-13 hour trek via walking or 4-5 hour via horse Palki.
The temple is open till 9 pm, so either have the darshan today or next day morning, after 4 am.
Day 4: By morning go for the early darshan of Kedarnath Dham, and also visit Shankaracharya Samadhi, & Bhairavnath Temple. After which, start the return trek and by night reach Gaurikund, then Sonprayag. rom here we will pick you up and drop back at the hotel for night stay.
Day 5: So by day 4, you have completed half of your Yatra and today we will reach Badrinath tour which is 220 km/ 8 hour drove from Sonprayag. Upon reaching here, you will either visit the Badrinath Dham, or by next day morning. Later, rest for the night.
Note: If accommodation is full at Badrinath, then we suggest night stay at Pipalkoti, Joshimath or nearby.
Day 6: Have he early morning darshan of Baba Badrinath and depart from the town after breakfast. Later will will arrive at Rudraprayag where you will stay for the night and also visit one of 5 Panch Prayag site of Uttarakhand, where Alaknanda meets Mandakini river.
Day 7: By morning, we will leave for Haridwar, which is 160 km/ 5 hour drive. We will try to reach here before lunch and later visit a few temples, ghats of Haridwar & Rishikesh. Plus also attend the evening aarti.
Day 8: Today you will checkout from the hotel and catch the train from Haridwar/ Delhi or flight from Delhi/ Dehradun.
