Complete 12 days Itinerary of
Char Dham yatra from Haridwar
Day 1: Arrive in Haridwar from Delhi
Arrive in Haridwar on Delhi via cab, rail or train, and rest for the day as tomorrow we will start our Char Dham yatra.
Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot
Leave for Barkot, base camp for Yamunotri Dham & your night stay destination. On route can visit some tourist sites.
Day 3: Yamunotri Dham temple visit
Reach Janki Chatti by car, then travel 5 km by foot or horse ride, & later come back to Barkot for night stay.
Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi
Leave for Uttarkashi, 80 km/ 3 hour away. Visit the Vishwanath Temple & night stay in Uttarkashi hotel.
Day 5: 2nd Dham visit of Gangotri
Leave for Gangotri Dham temple by car, no trekking here, and after darshan, come back to Uttarkashi for night stay,
Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi
Leave for Guptkashi, 200 km/ 8 hours away from Uttarkashi. Stay for the nigh here, as next day we’ll leave for Kedarnath.
Day 7: 3rd Dham of Kedarnath (day 1)
Leave for Sonprayag by car, then Gaurikund, and trek of 18 km till Kedarnath Dham & night stay at Kedarnath.
Day 8: 3rd Dham Kedarnath (day 2)
After Kedarnath Dham darshan, come back to Gaurikund, & drive back to Guptkashi for night stay.
Day 9: 4th Dham Badrinath (day 1)
Leave for Pipalkoti, 120 km/ 4 hour drive and night stay here, as next day we will leave for Badrinath.
Day 10: 4th Dham Badrinath (day 2)
Drive towards Badrinath temple, 75 km/ 3 hour drive, and after darshan come back to Pipalkoti for night stay.
Day 11: Badrinath to Rudraprayag
After Badrinath Dham darshan, come to Rudraprayag, one of Panch Prayag town. Here you will see the Sangam of Alaknanda & Mandakini.
Day 12: Rudraprayag to Delhi
Today you will come back to Delhi from Rudraprayag and complete your 12 days Char Dham Yatra, which can also be done in 11 days.

Char Dham Yatra
1st Dham: Yamunotri Dham
Visit Yamunotri Dham, the sacred temple of Mata Yamuna and the origin of the Yamuna River. Start your journey with a dip in Surya Kund hot spring and a 5 km trek from Janki Chatti.
2nd Dham: Gangotri Dham
The temple honors Mata Ganga, and this is also the starting point of the Ganga River. No trekking is needed; a car can take you to Gangotri temple. Some adventurers also trek 18 km to Gaumukh from Gangotri temple.
3rd Dham: Kedarnath Dham
Kedarnath Dham, a Jyotirlinga, lies at a glacier and is a highlight of the Char Dham Yatra. You can reach here after a 16-19 km walk from Gaurikund, Sonprayag. It’s a two-day spiritual journey.
4th Dham: Badrinath Dham
Badrinath Dham temple, dedicated to Shri Hari Vishnu, is situated in the Chomali district of Uttarakhand, and accessible by road. There’s no need for trekking to reach here by car.

Trek at Kedarnath and Yamunotri
In the above 11 days Char Dham yatra, you must be 100% aware of two trek destination, which are Sonprayag to Kedarnath (16 km trek) and Janki chatti to Yamunotri (5 km). View details below.
DAY 3: Janki Chatti to Yamunotri trek
The starting point of the trek here is Janki Chatti, from where you can either walk for 2-3 hours or take a horse ride for Yamunotri Dham temple. A horse ride will cost near Rs 400-500
DAY 7: Sonprayag to Kedarnath
The starting point of trek is Gaurikund from where you can either walk for 16 km, which will take 12 hour time, or you can take the horse ride to reduce traveling time to half. horse ride here is costly, around Rs 2500.

Question 2: How many days, one should plan for a full Char Dham Yatra from Delhi?
Answer: Our 10 days Char Dham Yatra starts from Haridwar on day 1, so for travelers who have booked our Yatra package from Delhi, we suggest minimum 11 days, and if traveling with senior citizens & small kids then 12 days.
In 11 days you will first arrive in Haridwar on day 1, visit local temples & ghats, and then on day 2 will leave for Barkot.
In 12 days, you will arrive in Haridwar from Badrinath and rest for the nigh, a& next day will leave for Delhi.
Answer: There are two types of Do Dham Yatra from Delhi. 1st is Yamunotri Gangotri Dham visit which require minimum 4-5 days and 2nd one is Kedarnath Badrinath Dham visit which required 5-6 days.
The fare for the Yatra in private car starts from Rs 3200 per day with sedan car, and Rs 6000 per day for 6 seater SUV Car. Call for more details.
