Our Do Dham Yatra Packages

1, Yatra dates in 2024

Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham will open on 14-May-24 and 16-May-24. And temple will be closed for public on 2-Nov-24.

2. Do Dham Yatra Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive near Kedarnath

Our Do Dham Yatra for 6 days will start from Haridwar or Dehradun. Today we will first leave for Sonprayag which is the starting point of Kedarnath Dham Yatra of 2 days. You can also plan to stay at Phata or Guptkashi, which ate 30 km south of Sonprayag,

Today you will rest at your hotel, guest house and can also visit Vishwanath temple, Ardhnareshwar temple, Manikarnik Kund & more sites in Guptkashi.

Day 2 Kedarnath Dham Yatra

Today, by morning, you will start your Kedarnath Dham Yatra from Sonprayag, which is the last point for private cars. From here, you will first reach Gaurikund, then complete an 18 km long trek till Kedarnath Dham Temple.

This trek can be covered with a horse, palki, & helicopter (tough to get), and your night stay will be near Kedarnath Temple, local dharamshala, or government camps.

Day 3 Back to Sonprayag

Today, you will come back to Sonprayag after the darshan, and here we will pick you up and drop you at your hotel where you will rest for the day after a 36 km trek, which you have now covered in 2 days.

Day 4 Arrive near Badrinath

Today, we will leave for Badrinath Dham Yatra, and before reaching the temple, you need to plan a stay at one of the following towns. First is to reach the Badrinath Town, which is 200 km from Guptkashi. Second is Joshimath, which is a 160 km drive. Third is Pipalkoti, which is a 120 km drive.

So today you will arrive at any of these 3 towns and rest for the day.

Day 5 Badrinath Dham Darshan

Since there is no trekking in Badrinath Dham Yatra, you will have the darshan, and by noon or lunchtime, you will leave for Pipalkoti. Alternatively, you can rest for the day at Rudraprayag and Karanprayag, and also see the Panch Prayag, the confluence of two rivers (Alaknanda and Mandakini).

Day 6 Your Yatra is complete

From Rudraprayag and Karanprayag, Haridwar is a 150 km drive, and in 5 hours, you will reach Haridwar and complete your Do Dham Yatra in 6 days and 5 nights.

Do Dham Yatra

About Kedarnath Dham

The Kedarnath Dham is dedicated to Mahadev Shiv and the shivling here is said be a bull hump, one of Pnach Kedar temples of Uttarakhand.

The Kedarnath Temple requires to cover an 18 km trek starting from Gaurikund, and this area is open to public from April-May to November, and for the rest months the whole valley of Kedarnath is cut-off from all, and even the deity is bought down to a region name Ukhimath, which is 41 km south of Gaurikund.

From Haridwar Kedarnath is 227 km drive which will take a minimum of 7-8 hours to reach and on route you can visit some amazing places which we have shared below.

About Badrinath Dham

The Badrinath Dham is dedicated to Shri Hari Vishnu ji Maharaj, and this temple is also a part of Char Dham Yatra of India, with other three temples in Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Gujrat.

You can straight reach the Badrinath town where the main temple is, and even stay here for a night/ Though be ready to stand in a line else no trekking is in Badrinath Dham Yatra.

From Haridwar, Badrinath Temple is 320 km which you will cover when returning from Badrinath to Haridwar and from Gaurikund (Kedarnath Dham), the Badrinath town is 223 km driver, approx. 9-10 hour journey.
