Day 1: Arrive in Uttarakhand
You can either arrive in Haridwar/ Rishikesh and then from Day reach more closed to Kedarnath or as suggested above, plan a 12-14 hour journey from Delhi to Guptkashi, and plan your night stay here or nearby cities of Sitapur.
Day 2: Start Kedarnath Dham Yatra
By morning, reach Sonprayag, and from here no private car or taxi is allowed to cross.
So, you should take a shared Bolero taxi and reach Gaurikund (5 km drive), which is the starting trek point. Try to reach Gaurikund by 10 am at the latest.
From here, you need to cover 18 km by foot or use a Palki/Horse.
Upon reaching Kedarnath Dham, see if you have time to have darshan (up to 9 pm) or rest at a dharamshala or camp at GMVN.
Have darshan the next morning if time permits.
Day 3: Darshan & come back
By 4 am, Kedarnath Dham temples open, and it’s a good time to have darshan. Try to leave for Gaurikund by noon.
Upon reaching, come back to Sonprayag, and then we will drop you at your hotel to rest for the day.
Day 4: Rudraprayag & Haridwar
Today you will check out from your hotel in Guptkashi and return to Haridwar, an 8-9 hour drive.
On route, we will visit a few sites like Ukhimath Omkareshwar Temple, River Sangam at Rudraprayag. Your night stay will be in Haridwar.
Day 5: Back to Delhi
Today you can first visit Haridwar and later reach Delhi which is 4 hour drive.
