Char Dham Yatra Itinerary from Pune
Day 1: Arrival from Pune, Maharashtra
Since the best rail/ flight connectivity from Pune is with Delhi, we are sharing a 11 days itinerary of Char Dham Yatra from Pune, via Delhi. So arrive in Delhi from Pune, then straight away leave for Haridwar/ Dehradun, 3 hour drive, and rest for the night at Haridwar/ Dehradun.
Day 2: Haridwar/ Dehradun to Barkot
Barkot is 180-190 km drive from Haridwar/ Dehradun, and upon reaching here you will rest at the booked Barkot Hotel, or at Hanuman Chatti, close to Barkot.
Day 3: Yamunotri Dham Darshan
By morning, first arrive at Janki Chatti, then trek 5 km to Yamunotri Dham, where you will see the first of the Char Dham Temples on your Yatra. By evening, return to Janki Chatti, and we will drop you off at the booked Barkot hotel for night stay.
Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi
After completing your Yamunotri Dham Yatra, we will depart from Barkot for Uttarkashi, which is an 80 km drive. Upon arrival, you will first check in at the booked hotel, then explore nearby sites, including the famous Vishwanath Temple.
Day 5: Gangotri Dham Darshan
By morning, we will leave for the Gangotri area, home to the Gangotri Dham temple. The cab will drop you very near the main temple area, and after a short walk of a few meters, you will reach the second of your Char Dham Yatra temples. After darshan, return to the car & then back to Uttarkashi for the night stay.
Day 6: Uttarkashi to Sonprayag or Guptkashi/ Sitapur
After completing your Gangotri Dham Yatra, you will leave for Sonprayag, which is the starting point of Kedarnath Dham Yatra. Upon reaching Sonprayag or Guptkashi/ Sitapur, you will stay at the booked hotel & rest for the night.
Day 7: Kedarnath Dham Yatra (day 1)
By morning, our cab will drop you at Sonprayag, and from here you first need to take a local cab till Gaurikund, as no other cab is allowed here. Then from Gaurikund you will begin your 18 km trek to Kedarnath Dham. And, you can take a horse, palki, or helicopter to reach Kedarnath Dham.
If you reach the Kedarnath base point by lunchtime, plan the darshan for today; otherwise, plan it for tomorrow morning.
Day 8: Kedarnath Dham Yatra (day 2)
Have the morning darshan of Kedarnath Dham today if yesterday you didn't had the darshan, and by lunchtime, trek down to Gaurikund > Sonprayag, & then, rest at the hotel for the night.
Day 9: Kedarnath to Badrinath
After completing your Kedarnath Dham Yatra, leave for Badrinath Dham. Upon arrival, you can either reach Badrinath town & rest for the day, or plan to stay in Pipalkoti.
Day 10: Badrinath Dham Darshan
By morning, leave for Badrinath Dham Temple by car, as no trekking is involved here. After darshan, leave for Rudraprayag & rest for the night there.
Day 11: Come back to Delhi
Today, you will first see the River Sangam at Rudraprayag, and then leave for Delhi, and rest for the night in the capital.
Day 11: Depart to Pune
Today as per your return booking for Pune, our driver will drop you at train station or Airport, and with this your Char Dham Yatra package from Pune will be completed.
