In 2024, the Yatra will start from 10 May, 14 May and 16 May.
Minimum days
Reach Delhi, Haridwar or Dehradun, and then complete your Yatra in 10 full days, so maximum 12-13 days from Ahmedabad.

13 days Char Dham Yatra package via train from Ahmedabad
Plan a 13 days Char Dham Yatra from Ahmedabad where you will leave for Haridwar on day 1, reach on day 2, and rest for the night.
Then from Haridwar, we have prepared a 10 days itinerary in which you will visit all Char Dham Temples, & many on route temples, attractions from day 3, and be back in Haridwar on day 12.
By day 13, you will catch the train back to Ahmedabad and thus completing your Char Dham Yatra.

Land at Dehradun Airport from Ahmedabad, and rest in Barkot which is 3-4 hour drive from Dehradun.
From day 2 to day 10 you will complete your Char Dham Yatra by road (cab or bus), and come back in Dehradun by on day 10.
Next day you will catch the flight back to Ahmedabad from Dehradun, and thus complete your Char Dham Dham from Ahmedabad in 11 full days.

Our Bus tours for Char Dham Yatra Package starts from Haridwar/ Dehradun and Delhi (Delhi ones are 1 day extra).
Here you need to arrive in Haridwar/ Dehradun on day 1, rest for the night.

This is a 10 days tour package where you will first complete Do Dham Yatra of Kedarnath & Badrinath Dham from day 3 to day 7.
You will arrive in Auli on day 7 night and spend day 8 & 9 in Auli.
By day 10, you will come back to Haridwar/ Dehradun and rest for the day, and next day (Day 11) leave for Ahmedabad via train/ flight.

Cha Dham Yatra Itinerary from Ahmedabad
1. Ahmedabad to Delhi or Uttarakhand
You first need to decide whether you want to start the Char Dham Yatra from Delhi, Haridwar or Dehradun.
If its Delhi then plan a total 13 days Yatra via train and 12 if your are arriving in Delhi via flight.
If you have planned the Yatra from Haridwar, then its 13 days with AHD to Haridwar & return is via train, and 11 with AHD to Dehradun via flight.
First Dham: Yamunotri Dham Yatra
Day 2 & 3
This is a 2 days Journey from Haridwar/ Dehradun and first we will reach Barkot which is 160-180 km drive, and upon reaching here we will rest and on next day start our Yamunotri Dham Yatra.
Please note, then you need to cover a 5 km trek to reach the temple and the starting point is Janki Chhati.
Second Dham: Gangotri Dham Yatra
Day 4 & 5
So on day 4, we will leave for the city of Uttarkashi which is 80 km drive and upon reaching the city you will visit a few temples like Shree Kashi Vishwanath Temple Uttarkashi, and stay in Uttarkashi for the night,
Next day we will reach Gangotri Dham temple via road, no trekking here, and have the Darshan of Yamunotri Dham Temple before coming back to Uttarkashi by evening/ night.
Third Dham: Kedarnath Dham Yatra
Day 6, 7 & 8
On day 6, we will drive towards Kedarnath Dham, and our first stop will be Guptkashi, where we will stay for the night. Additionally, we also suggest staying overnight in nearby cities like Sitapur.
On day 7, early in the morning, we will reach Sonprayag. Here, your Char Dham Yatra registration slip will be checked, and then you will begin the Kedarnath Dham Yatra, which involves:
- 5 km drive to Gaurikund
- 18 km walk till Kedarnath Dham Temple
And you need to complete this by evening or night as your night stay will be at Kedarnath at very cold temperatures. So do bring good quality winter clothes, and some basic cold medicine.
Kedarnath Temple closes at 7 pm and opens at 4 am. So on day 8, be ready by morning to have darshan and by noon at the latest, start the journey back to Gaurikund, then Sonprayag, where you will return to your hotel and rest for the night.
Forth Dham: Badrinath Dham Yatra
Day 9 & 10
On day 9, have your breakfast and leave for Barinath. Now you have two options:
- Arive at Pipalkoti or Joshimath, stay for the night here and each Badrinath Dham on next day, or
- Arrive at Badrinath town, rest for the night and by next day morning have darshan & be free by noon
Pipalkoti and Joshimath are a 120 km and 155 km drive from Guptkashi, respectively, while Badrinath town is 195 km away.
On day 10, if you are not yet in Badrinath town, you should arrive there within a 1-2 hour drive.
Pay a visit to one of the only Vishnu Temples of the Char Dham Yatra or Uttarakhand, and indeed one of the four major pilgrimage sites of India, the other three being Jagannath, Rameshwaram, and Dwarka.
After lunch, we will depart for Haridwar. Since it’s a 300+ km drive through mountainous routes, we will stay midway, in the city of Rudraprayag.
You will arrive here by night and rest. On day 11, we will leave for Haridwar in the morning and expect to reach by lunchtime or early evening.

As mentioned in above Char Dham Yatra itinerary, your registration for Kedarnath Temple & also Badrinath temple will be checked.
So please finalised your dates, and get registered for the Yatra either by visiting the government website and even with their official whatsapp number.
