Kedarnath Dham is in Kedarnath Town, which comes under the Rudraprayag district. The region is blessed with some of the most beautiful hill stations, valleys, and even glaciers. So, cold weather prevails all year round.
As you now know that in 4 days and 3 nights, you can easily cover Kedarnath Dham Yatra from cities like Haridwar, Dehradun. So, we suggest planning 2-3 more days in this region and visiting:
CHOPTA: Also known as Mini Switzerland, the main attraction is Tungnath Temple, which is one of the Panch Kedar Temple, with Kedarnath Dham being one of them.
UKHIMATH: Ukhimath is on the route to Sonprayag, and here you must visit the Ukhimath Omkareshwar Temple, which is the winter seat of Baba Kedarnath.
Other places you can visit near Kedarnath or on the route to Kedarnath are Augustmuni, Guptkashi, Rudraprayag, where you can see the sangam of Alaknanda & Mandakini rivers, also known as Panch Pray.
