    Dehradun is the best place to start your Char Dham Yatra as it’s more close to Yamunotri, which is the 1st temple you will visit, and Dehradun is well-connected by road (2-3 hours from Delhi), rail, and even flights.

    But before starting your yatra from Dehradun, you should know some points. These are:

    IMP Points.

    • Registration for Kedarnath & Badrinath Dham is compulsory.
    • Always carry cold medicine, warm clothes and cash as UPI is not widely available in Char Dham Route.
    • Be ready to witness very cold weather in Kedarnath & Badrinath, as they are or near glacier.
