Yatra itinerary, day wise:
Day 1: Delhi to Haridwar
By morning we will leave for Haridwar from Delhi which is a 4-5 hour drive. Upon reaching Haridwar, you will check-in at the booked hotel and rest for the night, or visit some famous temples of Haridwar & attend the evening Ganga aarti.
Day 2: Leave for Barkot/ Hanuman Chatti
Leave from Haridwar for Barkot, a 200 km drive, & stay in Barkot for the night
Day 3: Yamunotri Dham Yatra
In morning, leave from Barkot for Janki Chhati (20 minute), then from Janki Chhati, start your 5 km walk till the Yamunotri Dham Temple.
Day 4: Leave for Uttarkashi
Leave Barkot for Uttarkashi and your night stay today will be in Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Gangotri Dham Yatra
In morning, leave Uttarkashi for Gangotri (3 hour/ 100 km drive) and upon reaching the Gangotri town, have darshan of your 2nd Dham temple, Shree Gangotri Dham. After darshan, come back to bus and we will come back to our hotel in Uttarkashi for night stay.
Day 6: Leave for Guptkashi/ Sitapur
By morning we will leave for Guptkashi or Sitapur, which is a 200 km/ 7-8 hour drive. Upon reaching you can either visit a few temples like Ukhimath Omkareshwar Temple, and rest for the day.
Day 7: Kedarnath Dham Yatra
Today we will drop you at Sonprayag from where you first need to reach Gaurikund in a shared cab (no other vehicle is allowed) and then start your 18 km long Yatra till Kedarnath Dham Temple. Your night stay will be in Kedarnath Base Camp.
Day 8: Morning Darshan & back to Sonprayag
Have the morning darshan of Kedarnath Temple, and leave for Gaurikund by noon or max lunch. Then from Gaurikund, again take the shared cab till Sonprayag and then we will take you back to your hotel for night stay.
Day 9: Leave for Pipalkoti, or near/ in Badrinath town.
Leave Guptkashi for Badrinath Dham and night stay can be planned at Badrinath tour, or Pipalkoti, Govind Ghat etc.
Day 10: Badrinath Dham Yatra & night stay Rudraprayag
Have the morning darshan of Badrinath Dham and by noon leave for Rudraprayag for night stay.
Day 11: Rudraprayag to Rishikesh
Visit the Panch Prayag site at Rudraprayag and reach Rishikesh. Plus attend the evening aarti and also explore some famous temples.
Day 12: Back to Delhi
By 10-11 am, we will come back to Delhi, which is a 5 hour drive from Rishikesh and with this our 12 days Char Dham Yatra by bus from Delhi will come completed.
