Itinerary for Shimla and Manali tour from Mumbai
Manali is a 3 days destination and below we have shared days wise itinerary on what to see & explore in Manali.
Day 1: Arrival in Shimla via Chandigarh, Delhi or Kalka
You can reach Shimla either via a flight/ train to Chandigarh or Delhi, and then leave by road in a Volvo bus (or private cab) till Shimla. Sites to see today are:
Day 2: Day tour to Kufri & more from Shimla
Today after your breakfast, we will head for a day tour to visit many sites that are less than 2 hour drive from the city. These are:
Day 3: Leave for Manali & visit Kullu & Naggar on-route
Manali is 240 km drive from Shimla, which is an 7-8 hour drive. So we suggest to visit Kullu & Naggar on route & reach Manali by night. Sites to see are:
Day 4: Local Manali Sightseeing
Today keep the sightseeing simple and just explore the Manali city sites like:
Day 5: Rohtang Pass, or Solang
Today you will visit snow sites of Manali which are 12 to 50 km drive from City and some of them are closed n winters and some in summers. These are:
Day 6: Back to Mumbai
Checkout from the hotel and leave for Chandigarh or Delhi, which are 6 and 10-11 hour drive from Manali. So you can either plan a departure flight/ train for Mumbai today or can stay in Delhi for the night and leave on day 7 morning.
