Itinerary for Jodhpur:

  • Day 1: We suggest our guests to arrive in Jodhpur by morning, max by noon, and after a 1-2 hour rest at the booked Jodhpur hotel, leave for a Jodhpur sightseeing tour and first visit > Mehrangarh Fort & Umaid Bhawan Palace.

    These 2 sites are the main attractions of Jodhpur and here you will one of the biggest & private fort in India that has many palaces, collection of art, weapons, golden cannon, and even 7 huge gates which even the armies of Jaipur couldn’t pass.

    The Umaid Bhawan Palace was built by the maharaja of Jodhpur & today this stunning palace is operated as Taj Hotel (2/3rd) and a private museum by the current Jodhpur royal family, which also owns Mehrangarh Fort.

    Later in the day you can visit Jaswant Thada which is known as Taj Mahal of Rajasthan, Mandore Gradens, Clowk tower market etc.

  • Day 2: On day 2 you can visit any sites which you missed on day 1 or plan a same day tour to visit many places that are 70-170 km drive from Jodhpur. These are:

    1. Osian Mata Temple & Osian desert safari
    2. Khimsar desert village
    3. Ranakpur Jain Temples & Kumbhalgarh Fort
    4. Ramdevra temple & Pokhra

    You can plan to choose any of the above 4 places and return back to Jodhpur by night.

  • Day 3: After spending 2 days in Jodhpur, you can either plan your departure from Jodhpur Airport/ Railway Station or give 2 more days and visit Jaisalmer.
