12 days/ 11 nights Char Dham Yatra Package from Mumbai via Dehradun

Day 1 to 5: Yamunotri & Gangotri Dham (Part 1)

Day 1 will be your arrival in Dehradun, via flight, from Mumbai, and our driver will pick you from Jolly Grant Airport – Dehradun & drop you at the booked hotel for night stay.

Day 2, you will start your Char Dham Yatra from today as we will drive from Dehradun to Barkot, a 140 km/ 4 hour drive and your night stay for today will be at the booked hotel in Barkot.

Day 3 morning, we will first reach Janki Chatti from Barkot, which is the last town where private car can drop travellers.
From here you will cover a 5-6 km trek, around 4-5 hours, to reach the Yamunotri Dham Temple.
After the darshan, come back to Janki Chatti by evening & then we will be back to the hotel in Barkot for night stay.

Day 4 morning, we will leave Barkot for Uttarkashi, around 4-5 hour drive and here you will rest for the day, and can also visit the famous Shree Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
Day 5 morning, we will leave for Gangotri town, where Gangotri Dham temple is. The car parking is just 500 meter from the main temple, before noon you will easily have the darshan of Gangotri Dham.
Later you will come back to Uttarkashi & rest for the day. (Note, some guests leave for Guptkashi on day 5, this saving 1 day of Yatra)
Day 6 to 12: Kedarnath & Badrinath Dham (Part 2)
Day 6 morning, we will leave Barkot for Guptkashi/ Sitapur or Sonprayag, last is best, as per your hotel booking and rest for the night, as by day 7, you will start the Kedarnath Dham Yatra.
Day 7 morning, we will first drop you at Sonprayag, where your Yatra registration will be checked.
Then you will take a shared Bolero Car which will drop you 5 km ahead at Gaurikund, the starting point of 18 km long Kedarnath Dham Yatra.
The trek to Kedarnath Dham from Gaurikund is of 10-12 hours, and you can also take the horse, palki to make it 4-5 hours or Helicopter to make it 20 minutes. Though please consider that very few seats are available daily for Helicopter ride.
By night you will arrive in Kedarnath Dham, and rest at either Camps or Dharamshala near the temple.
Day 8 morning, get ready by 4-5 am to have the early darshan of Kedarnath Dham, to avoid huge lines.
Later visit Shankaracharya Samadhi, Bheem Shila & Shri Bhairavnath Mandir.
By noon, start the return trip tp Gaurikund, & then from parking area, you will drive back to your hotel in Guptkashi/ Sitapur or Sonprayag.
Day 9 morning, you will leave for Badrinath town which is a 220 km or 6 hour drive.
After reaching here you will rest at the booked hotel and plan next day morning darshan of Badrinath Dham.
Day 10 morning, have the early darshan of Badrinath Dham, and after lunch time we will leave for Rudraprayag for night stay and also see the rare side of Panch Prayag, one of 5 places in Uttarakhand where 2 rives (Alaknanda & Mandakini) becomes as 1.
Day 11 morning, we will leave for Dehradun, visit a few temples & attend the evening aarti. Night stay in Dehradun.
Day 12 morning, checkout from the hotel and catch the flight back to Mumbai, and with this your 12 days/ 11 nights Char Dham Yatra Package from Mumbai via Dehradun will be completed.
Plus, you can also add 1 more day in Rishikesh/ Haridwar and visit many more temples, ghats and some amazing green resorts of Rishikesh.
