Answer: Apart from dune bashing and camp BBQ dinner with dance programs, you can enjoy quad biking, falconry, sandboarding, henna hand painting, & also plan an overnight stay.

Q3: Is desert safari safe for children & senior citizens?
Answer: Dune bashing is safe and done by licensed desert drivers. However, people with motion sickness, back pain, or young kids should either skip the dune bashing tour or choose the gentle-ride option where the driver is instructed to go easy on dunes.

Plus, as most dune bashing tours are conducted before sunset, we always suggest having a light lunch.

Q4: What is included in the BBQ dinner in the Dubai desert camp?

Answer: You will get a wide variety of dinner options in the BBQ dinner during your Dubai Desert Safari package. This includes salads, hummus, pasta, many Indian dishes, along with BBQ kebabs, grilled chicken, chicken curry, and Arabic grills (shawarma-style) at live counters, along with unlimited non-alcoholic drinks.

Answer: Yes, you can book the complete Land Cruiser for a personal desert safari tour, which costs AED 350–400 for the whole car with driver, and a maximum of 6 guests can sit.

Answer: Yes, it’s recommended, but you can get a confirmation even if you book 1 day in advance, apart from high-season dates, where we suggest booking at least 5–7 days in advance.

Answer: Most desert camps in Dubai offer veg buffet options like veg biryani, dal, paneer sabzi, noodles, salads, and desserts. However, Jain food is usually available only in private dining or for large groups, and even then, you need to give a 2–3 days advance request.

Answer: In our basic Dubai Desert Safari packages, quad biking is not included, as not all guests prefer this activity. You can purchase tickets for quad biking during your tour. The price ranges from AED 50–150 per person, depending on the type of bike you choose — single-seater, double-seater, etc.

Answer: Most desert destinations are a 45–60 minute drive from Dubai city, and these are Al Lahbab, also known as the famous Red Dunes of Dubai, and Al Aweer Desert, which is the closest desert to Dubai city.

Q12: Are washrooms available in desert camps?
Answer: Yes, you will find neat & clean washrooms in all desert camps in Dubai, and also at the quad bike arena.

Q13: Is it suggested to carry cash during the desert safari trip?
Answer: Yes, the payment for pick-up, drop-off, dune bashing, and the camp dinner & entertainment program can be made easily online. However, for activities like quad biking, camel rides, falcon photography, shopping inside the camp, or any extras during dinner, it’s best to carry some cash.

Q14: Do you suggest getting travel insurance before planning a Dubai trip?
Answer: Yes, we always recommend our guests to have travel insurance before arriving in the UAE, especially if you plan to participate in outdoor activities in the desert or adventure sports in the city such as water sports, bungee jumping, etc.
