TOUR ITINERARY:
Duration: Jaipur 2 nights, Chittorgarh on-route, Udaipur 2 nights, and Mount Abu 1 night
Upon arrival, you will check-in at the booked hotel and later after lunch visit Gadisar Lake, Bada Bagh, Vyas Chhatri etc. Night stay Jaisalmer.
On day 2 you will first visit Jaisalmer Golden Fort, or as locals calls in Sonar Quila. This name came as the whole Jaisalmer Fort, which is like 30% of complete Jaisalmer city is made up of yellow limestone and when the 1st ray of sunlight touches it, it sparks in golden colour.
Inside the Jaisalmer Fort, you will visit Nathmal Haveli, Salim Singh Haveli, and the most famous mansion, Patwon ki Haveli. These haveli are 300-600 year old mansion of that time business men and important court members, and are so beautiful that its visited by thousands of travellers everyday.
After your lunch, we will reach Sam Sand Dunes, which is main attraction of Jaisalmer. Sam is a desert area, one of the best in whole India, where you will first check-in at the booked desert camp, and later enjoy desert safari activities (Camel & Jeep safari), and other activities like quad bike on dunes, paragliding, etc.
By 7 pm you will come back to camp and enjoy a 2 hour musical dance program with dinner, and rest for the night at the booked desert camp.
Jodhpur is 280 km from Sam Jaisalmer and you will reach here by 1 pm. Later you will visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, & local markets like Clock tower area in evening. Night stay Jodhpur.
In morning after hotel checkout, we will first visit the famous Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum and then leave for Pune either from Jodhpur, or can plan from Jaipur which is 350 km or 6-7 hour drive from Jodhpur.
