Tour itinerary:
Day 1: You’ll arrive in Jodhpur from Mumbai, & we will pick and drop at the booked Jodhpur hotel where you will stay for 1 night.
Today you will see:
- Mehrangarh Fort
- Jaswant Thada
- Umaid Bhawan Palace
- Mandore Garden
- Clock Tower
Day 2: Say goodbye to Jodhpur & leave for Jaisalmer, 275 km & 5 hour drive.
You will stay in Jaisalmer for 2 nights (one in Hotel in City & 2nd in Camp in desert). Sites to see today:
- Gadisar Lake
- Vyas Chattri
- Bada Bagh
Day 3: From 9 am to 3 pm, you will see attractions of Jaisalmer city, especially its Golden Fort.
Then by 4 pm, leave for Sam desert, check-in at booked Camp & enjoy its activities, which are:

- Salim Singh Haveli
- Nathmal Haveli
- Cannon point
- Camel Safar at Sam
- Jeep Safari at Sam
- Folk dance with dinner at Camp
Day 4: After a 1 night stay at Desert Camp, have the morning complimentary breakfast & leave for Mumbai via train/ flight from Jaisalmer.

Note: Jodhpur has the best train options from Mumbai, click here for trains list, and you can also plan departure from Jodhpur too, which is 5 hour car ride from Jaisalmer. Though an extra Rs 2500 car fare will be charged.
Secondly, Jaisalmer is not a 12 month destination, especially its desert area of Sam. Though you can visit Jaisalmer city all year buy Camps in Jaisalmer are open from September to March.
Plus in winter, Jaisalmer is very cold, especially desert area, so if you are travelling with very small kids, then prefer hotel stay on camps.
