Experience Jaipur’s Royal Legacy With Our City Palace Tour
Exploring the City Palace with a knowledgeable local guide allows you to see Jaipur’s royal heritage from an insider’s perspective.
The palace is still home to the Jaipur Royal Family, and access to many sections is limited without the proper gallery pass.
With our City Palace Guided Tour, you not only enter the private royal apartments inside the seven-storey Chandra Mahal, but also learn the stories, traditions and history that most visitors never hear about.
While many tourists only explore the outer courtyards and museums, the Royal Gallery ticket gives you access to beautifully preserved halls like Sukh Niwas, Shobha Niwas and Chhavi Niwas, famous for their hand-painted walls, gold leaf work, mirror artwork and royal furnishings.
From the top level of the Chandra Mahal, the Mukut Mandir, you will see a panoramic view of the Pink City of Jaipur.
Your guide will also assist with entry tickets and point out the best places for permitted photography. If you wish to explore nearby attractions after the palace tour, such as Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal or the Old City bazaars, checkout our Jaipur Sightseeing Packages.
