FAQ on our Jaipur Night Tours for 2026 season
What will be the fare per person for a Jaipur night tour, and which sites can I visit?
Answer: Fare depends upon the mode of transportation. We normally suggest booking our taxi cars with a driver. If it’s a group of four people, then the cost will be around ₹ 200 to ₹ 250 per person. And if it’s only for two people, the per-person cost will come to around ₹ 400 to ₹ 450.
We have also introduced tuk-tuk tours, but even that will come to around ₹ 300 to ₹ 500 per person because of the limited seating capacity. In an SUV, up to six people can sit, so the per-person rate decreases.
The best sites you can explore on a Jaipur night tour are Chokhi Dhani, where you can enjoy the experience from around 6:30 pm to 11 pm. There are lots of activities to attend, and a complete dinner is included in the entry fee.
Another option is the Amber Fort Sound and Light Show, which is a one-hour show conducted between approximately 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. In summer, the show is generally held during the later hour, while in winter, it is conducted earlier.
Apart from these, some common sites that you can easily visit on a Jaipur night tour are Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Albert Hall Museum, Birla Temple, Moti Dungri Temple, and Patrika Gate.
Question 2: Can I explore both Chokhi Dhani and the Amber Fort Sound and Light Show?
Answer: It is possible, but you need to be very careful with the timings. We can start the tour by 6 pm and arrive at Amber Fort for the Sound and Light Show at around 6:30 pm. By 7:30 pm, the show will be completed.
After that, Chokhi Dhani is approximately a 45-minute to one-hour drive, so you can reach there by around 8:30 pm. You can then spend approximately two and a half hours at Chokhi Dhani.
However, most guests do not prefer such a hectic tour and generally choose Chokhi Dhani over the Amber Fort Sound and Light Show.
Question 3: Which is the best place to see a 360-degree view of Jaipur at night?
Answer: In our tours, we suggest destinations like Nahargarh Fort and its Sunset Point, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Jaipur at night. There is also a small restaurant open there.
Another option is Galta Temple, which is also located at a height and offers a good view of the city. So, from these locations, you can enjoy a good panoramic night view of Jaipur.
Question 4: What are some sites that I can see near Jaipur at night?
Answer: The list of sites that you can plan to visit around Jaipur includes Chokhi Dhani, Goner and Jagdish Ji Temple, which is around 5 kilometres from Jaipur. Sambhar Lake is another option, located approximately 80 to 90 kilometres from Jaipur, although we suggest reaching there before sunrise.
You can also consider Samode Palace, which is located outside Jaipur and can be combined with a dinner or restaurant experience.
Question 5: Is Jaipur safe at night?
Answer: Yes, Jaipur is a tourist city, and night tours are getting popular day by day. Even the nightlife and club scene in Jaipur is growing. There are generally no major security concerns for tourists who follow normal precautions. Tourist police and other security services are also available. We rarely see any major mishappening involving tourists during Jaipur night tours.
Question 6: Which restaurants would you suggest for a nice dinner in Jaipur at night?
Answer: In our tours, we have shared around three to four destinations. One is Chokhi Dhani, where you can enjoy a complete Rajasthani dining experience.
Another option is the restaurants at Rambagh Palace. You can also try the restaurant at Samode Palace for a heritage dining experience.
Apart from these, there are other restaurants offering multi-cuisine and Rajasthani food, such as Handi Restaurant at MI Road and Rasaad Restaurant. We have also introduced a special tour where we can take you to a local Rajput family who can prepare vegetarian and non-vegetarian food for you.
Question 7: Can I get an open jeep for a Jaipur night tour?
Answer: Yes, we have introduced an open jeep tour package in Jaipur. We can arrange either a heritage-style old Mahindra Thar or a newer Thar, depending upon availability.
These tours are generally more suitable during the winter season. During other seasons, we usually do not recommend open jeep tours, but if guests specifically want one, it can be arranged subject to availability.
Question 8: Till what time are Jaipur markets open at night?
Answer: The famous markets of Jaipur include Bapu Bazaar, Johari Bazaar, Khazane Walon Ka Rasta, Amber Fort Market and MI Road. Most market shops are generally open until around 8 to 9 pm, although timings can vary depending on the market and the day. Restaurants, however, remain open until much later at night.
