- This is our 1 day return tour, which is only transportation only tour package of our Indore City Tour Packages, where you will be provided with a private cab, Tempo Traveller, or other vehicle along with a driver for a full day. The tour generally starts around 7: am and gets completed by late night. The tour fare is mentioned above. If you are delayed by up to 30 minutes, no extra charges will apply. However, if the delay exceeds one hour, we request guests to pay an additional ₹200 per hour directly to the driver.
- During the journey to Omkareshwar, all the toll tax, parking charges, or entry fees for vehicle parking areas will be paid directly by the guest. These charges are generally very minimal.
- Please be prepared to encounter crowds at Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, which is the most visited attraction in Omkareshwar. At Mamleshwar Temple and most other temples, waiting times are usually much shorter. Heavy crowds are generally seen only during Mahashivratri, Shravan month, public holidays, and major Hindu festivals.
- There is no entry ticket required for most temples in Omkareshwar. Omkareshwar is situated on an island on the Narmada River and is considered one of the most sacred Jyotirlinga sites in India. It is relatively safe and visitor-friendly. However, if you face any issue during the tour or require any assistance, feel free to call us at any time.
- If you wish to have lunch or refreshments during the tour, some popular restaurants and food outlets near Omkareshwar include Narmada Dhaba, Shiv Prasad Restaurant, and other small eateries available near the ghats and temple area.
- Most major temples in Omkareshwar open early in the morning and remain closed for a few hours in the afternoon before reopening in the evening. We recommend planning your temple visits and the Parikrama (island circumambulation) accordingly. Exact timings may vary depending on the season, festivals, and temple administration schedules.
- Pickup and drop service will be provided from your preferred location within Indore city. We can also arrange pickup from Indore Airport. Pickup from Dewas or Khandwa can also be arranged for a small additional charge.
