8 days Yatra Itinerary

Day 1, Arrive in Haridwar, Dehradun from your hometown. If direct train is not available then reach Delhi, and from these we can arrange a one side cab till Haridwar/ Dehradun, which is 4-5 hour drive from Delhi.

Your night stay will be in Haridwar/ Dehradun.

Day 2 Leave Haridwar/ Dehradun for Guptkashi, an 8 hour drive. Upon reaching Guptkashi, you can also visit Vishwanath Temple & Ukhimath Temple.

Your night stay will be in Guptkashi or in Sitapur/ Sonprayag.

Day 3 Early morning, we will drop you at Sonprayag and then:

  • Verify tour Yatra Registration
  • Take shared cab till Gaurikund
  • Trek, or take horse/ Palki till Kedarnath Dham, 18 km and takes 12 hour in walking, and half in horse palki.

Night stay at Kedarnath Base Camp.

Day 4 The gates of Kedarnath Dham opens by 4 am, so go for an early morning darshan, and later you will also have time to visit:

  • Bheem Shila
  • Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi
  • Shri Bhairavnath Mandir

Later by noon, start the return journey till Gaurikund, then shared cab till Sonprayag, and then sit in our cab till hotel drop, in Guptkashi.

Your night stay will be in Guptkashi or in Sitapur/ Sonprayag.

Day 5 Today, we will leave for Badrinath Town which is 220 km drive from Sonprayag. This is an 8-9 hour drive, & evening/ night you will reach Badrinath Town.

Your night stay will be in Badrinath or Pipalkoti/ Joshimath.

Day 6 Today before sunset, plan to go for an early darshan of Badrinath Dham which opens at 4:30 am. By opting for an early morning Darshan, you will have time to visit a few more sites in Badrinath, later Rudraprayag, where your night stay in booked.

Your night stay will be in Rudraprayag.

Day 7 Today you will begins your Tungnath Temple Yatra, for which we will first reach Chopta, which is 35 km/ 1 hour drive from Rudraprayag.

Upon reach Chopta, start your 3.5 to 4 km trek till temple which will consume 3 hour. After the darshan of Tungnath Temple, which is one of 5 historical Shiv Temple in Uttarakhand, known as Pancj Kedar.

By evening, come back to Rudraprayag, and on route to your hotel, we will also see the 2 river sangam of Alaknanda & Mandakini river.

Your night stay will be in Rudraprayag.

Day 8 By morning we will leave Rudraprayag for Haridwar/ Dehradun, and with this your 8 Days Do Dham Yatra with Tungnath Temple is completed.

Note: You can also add 1 night stay at Haridwar/ Dehradun, and leave for your home town on day 9.
