Manali is a 12 month destination, and months from October to June are the most crowded ones.

The only time you will notice low crowd in Manali will be July & August (apart from 15th Aug date).

You can reach Manali in 10-11 hours from Delhi, so the best time to leave will still be morning (6-7 am) & reach Manali by evening or night.

1. What will be the cost of Delhi to Manali one side cab?

Answer: For sedan car the taxi fare would be ₹ 7000 for one side drop and Rs 10-11 per km or Rs 2500-2750 per day for more than 1 day trip. If your trip is for 5 days then it will be total km driven x Rs 10-11 per km, with minimum charge for 1250 km or 250 km per day.

2. How much time does it take to reach Manali from Delhi by taxi?

– As suggested above minimum 10 to 12 hours. 10 if you take the night journey as then you won’t stop to much for meals and 12 hours if its a day time travel as now you will stop for 2 meals.

3. What are other charges beside taxi fare?

– So if its a one side cab then nothing, apart from any parking charges and only if there is any. And for round trip, you need to pay Rs 300 per day as driver allowance, parking charges, toll tax and state tax.

4. Are there any extra charge or surcharge if I book a night time taxi?

– For round trip no, but for one side drop an extra Rs 300-500 to be paid to the driver.

5. What is my pick or drop is a bit outside Delhi or Manali, will extra charges be charged?
