Even in summer months like May & June, the temperature at Kedarnath & Badrinath are still very cold, especially early mooring & by night. So we at Rajputana Cabs suggest:

At the Char Dham Yatra, you should carry the right medicines, as you will be traveling through high-altitude areas, long road journeys, and trekking routes—especially the Kedarnath Dham trek.
In this region, weather changes, fatigue, and reduced oxygen levels can lead to health issues if you are not prepared. Therefore, you should carry a basic medical kit to ensure you can handle common health problems during the yatra. We suggest:
- Carry your daily medicines for conditions like BP and diabetes for the entire trip, and even for an extra week.

In short, during your Char Dham Yatra, you must stay hydrated, walk at a steady pace, and take proper rest while trekking.
4. Important Documents

Before starting your Char Dham Yatra, it is important to keep all necessary documents ready. These documents are required for verification, hotel check-ins, and mandatory yatra registration at various checkpoints.
Keeping both physical copies and digital backups on your mobile will help you avoid any interruptions during the yatra. The list of important documents to carry is shared below:

On this 10–12 day Char Dham Yatra, you will pass through many remote areas, so we suggest carrying some essential electronic items like a portable mobile charger, an extra mobile phone, and a torch.
Especially during the Kedarnath Dham trek, which is around 18 km long, a night walk can be a bit challenging. So always carry:
- Carry your mobile phone with an active network pack.
- Carry a fully charged power bank, as you might not find electric sockets for charging during the trek.
- Carry extra charging cables and adapters, as you may not find suitable chargers on the route.
- Always carry a torch, as it will be very helpful if you need to trek at night.

The treks to Yamunotri Dham and Kedarnath Dham are around 5 km and 18 km long, respectively, and can be a bit challenging for many travellers planning to visit these temples. Although food and water options are available on the route, these areas are near glaciers, and shops may completely shut during bad weather.
Thus, we suggest carrying:
- Carry a lightweight but sufficiently large water bottle for each member to stay hydrated.
- Carry dry fruits like almonds, walnuts, and raisins, or energy bars, to get instant energy during long walks.
- Carry good-quality biscuits and packed food as an emergency supply, as they can be useful during long travel hours or if you get stuck due to landslides.
