We suggest to start the da by 4-5 am, as first we will drop you at Sonprayag which is the last point a cab/ bus can drop travellers. Then from here you need to take a shared cab for 5 km ride till Gaurikund, and then an 18 km trek to Kedarnath Base Camp, where you will rest for the night.

In morning go for an early morning darshan of Baba Kedarnath, as temple opens at 4 am. Then after darshan visit the Bheem Shila behind the Kedarnath Temple. This shila is the main reason that Kedarnath Temple was not destroyed in 2012 floods.
