Best time to plan Char Dham Yatra
From April to June, these months are usually crowded because of:
- Less rain
- 2 months of school holidays
- Pleasant weather
In July & August, the number of travellers visiting the Char Dham Yatra declines by more than 90% due to heavy rainfall, landslides, and difficult travel conditions.
From September to November, there is a sharp increase in travellers, as those who prefer a less crowded Char Dham Yatra plan their visit during this period.
