Day 1: Leave for Manali

Manali is a 280-300 km drive from Chandigarh, with 80% hill area, and it takes around 7-8 hours time. So you can either leave my morning and reach Manali by evening or leave a day before by night and reach Manali by morning (night drive).

Day 2: Plan Rohtang Pass day tour

Plan a full day tour of Rohtang Pass, Koksar, Atal Tunnel. Sissu and if they are not open then visit Solang Valley, Gulaba Point & nearby. You will return back before 7-8 pm, as no night stay or activity are allowed in these areas.

Day 3: Local Manali Sightseeing

Visit Manali Mall road, and all local sites like Hidimba Temple, Manu Mandir, Van Vihar, Beas river bridge, Himalayan Nyinmapa Tibetan Buddhist etc, and enjoy a dinner at some fine dinning restaurant, or cafe of Manali.

Day 4: Naggar, Kullu & back to Chandigarh

On day 4, checkout from the hotel after breakfast and before reaching Chandigarh, visit the sites of Naggar & Kullu on route like Naggar Castle, Rabbit farm, Kullu shawl factory, Vaishno Devi Temple etc. Reach CHD by night.

Extra day for Kasol & Manikaran

Sone of our guests skip Naggar & Kullu and visit Kasol & Manikaran which is an extra 100 km drive but the sites here are worth visiting. or plan a 5 days tour where you visit Kullu, Kasol & Manikaran om day 4, and reach Chandigarh by 2-3 pm on day 5, as you will stay day 4 night in Kasol.

Two days for Shimla

A 6 days Manali Shimla itinerary is very popular among travelers where on day 4, after visit on route sites, you reach Shimla by night. Then on day 5 & 6 explore Shimla sites and reach Chandigarh by evening as Chandigarh is just 2 hour drive from Shimla.
