Travel Tips for Char Dham Yatra

trishul sep white

Over the past 3-4 years, there has been so much development made by the local & central government. But still this is a 10 days Yatra, and also goes from glacier area, and thus knowing some travel tips is always useful. Have a look at a few our suggested tip & feel free to call us at 8209351141 for more details.

1. Plan dates as per low & high crowd season

Char Dham Yatra is only available for 7-8 months in a year, like in 2024 its from 22 April to 21 November 2023. The period from 1st May to 20 May will be the most crowded as its summer holidays for kids. And form late July to August will be the least crowded many people skip the rainy season for Yatra.

So you need to plan your dates accordingly, and we suggest the months of April May & June as the best ones.

2. Yatra Registration is must

Since 2023, the registration for travelers have become very important and also very easy. No need to stand in line at Haridwar, Dehradun, just visit the government website, or also use the official whatsapp number for whatsapp registration for Char Dham Yatra.

You can get complete details about Char Dham Registration at this link.

3. Take assistance of an experienced travel agency

Rajputana Cabs team is available in Haridwar during Char Dham Yatra season, and at the Yatra dates, even grocery sellers in Haridwar become char dham yatra travel agents and start selling packages. Though funny it may sound but sometimes it become dangerous.

Always book a package for Char Dham from a government registered travel agency, who in time of need like vehicle damage during yatra, hotel not giving rooms or even medical assistance, is standing with you.

This feel free to choose a travel agency near your home, or online travel agency in Haridwar like us, ask for the form GST certificate, local address and do check their online reviews.
