A 3 full days are best for Manali, as here on these days you can visit:

  • Day 1 Local Manali city sightseeing: Visit Manu Temple, Hadimba Temple, Van Vihar, Beas river bridge, Himalayan Nyinmapa Tibetan Buddhist, Monastery Mall Road etc.

  • Day 2 Rohtang trip: Then one full day for Rohtang Trip, where you will visit Solang, Gulaba point, Marahi, Rahala waterfall, Rohtang Pass, Koksar, Atul Tunnel & back to Manali.

  • Day 3 Kullu, Kasol & Manikaran: Visit Naggar, Kullu on route, and Kasol Manikaran which are around 80-100 km from city. In winters many guest also love to visit Sissu, and for travellers interested to trek, visit Tosh ahead of Manikaran.

Manali is 305 km away from Chandigarh and the best route to reach here is:

  • Chandigarh > Bilaspur > Mandi > Bhuntar > Kullu > Manali. This is a 8 hour drive, and you can stop for an hour for meal, making this a 9 hour journey.

  • If you want to stop on-route and visit some places then plan a stops at Kullu and see sites like Rabbit farm, dry fruit market, Vaishno Devi Temple, Pandoh dam.

    Its an 7-9 hour drive, depending on the stops you made on route, and we suggest to plan a minimum 4 days trip from Chandigarh to Manali. Like reach Manali on day 1 evening, and leave from Manali on day 4 noon & reach Chandigarh by dinner time.
